Jeera khakhra is the plainer one, flavoured with cumin and salt and not much else. It is the version people buy when they want the crunch without a lot of spice.
Cumin and wheat is a very old combination and it works exactly as well here as it does in a paratha.
Have it with chai, with a spoonful of pickle, or spread with a little butter. It travels well in a bag and it does not make a mess, which is why it turns up in lunchboxes and on long journeys.
