Khari is Indian puff pastry, baked into flaky layered biscuits, and it is bakery food rather than biscuit-aisle food in India.
The methi version has dried fenugreek through it, which turns it savoury and slightly bitter.
Eat it with chai, which is the only correct pairing. It is flaky enough that you will need to stand over a plate. Better than it has any right to be for something so simple.
Available at Curry Corner in North Melbourne.
