Tamicon is the concentrate, which means it has been reduced hard and a very little goes a very long way.
Half a teaspoon replaces a good handful of soaked block. Treat it with respect or your sambar will be inedible.
Dissolve it in a little hot water before adding, so it disperses rather than sitting in one sour pocket. Use it in sambar, rasam, chutneys and marinades. The jar keeps in the fridge for a long time.
